Vendée Globe 2028

The Vendée Globe is a solo, non-stop, unassisted round-the-world sailing race held every four years. It is sailed on IMOCA boats - 18 meter long monohulls. Skippers depart from Les Sables-d'Olonne in the Vendée region, covering around 45,000 kilometers around the globe, rounding the three legendary capes : the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Leeuwin, and finally Cape Horn, before returning to Les Sables-d'Olonne. The race has gained international acclaim, attracting skippers from all over the world. Beyond the competition, it is above all an incredible human adventure.
